ARTICLE 1 - PURPOSE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the contractual relationship between La Rose du Ch\u00e2teau and any person making a reservation, whether the reservation is made :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • direct (telephone, email)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • or via an online booking platform, such as Booking.com<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    All bookings imply full acceptance of these GTC, without exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n\n\n\n

    ARTICLE 2 - DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    La Rose du Ch\u00e2teau offers furnished rooms and suites for rent, including :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • rooms and suites<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • breakfast served in the dedicated room (from July 2026)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • access to shared facilities and areas: lounge and dining room<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Services are described in the official communication materials and may change without notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n\n\n\n

      ARTICLE 3 - DIRECT BOOKING<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      The reservation is considered firm and definitive after :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • acceptance of these terms and conditions<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • payment of a deposit representing 20% of the total cost of the holiday<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        The balance must be paid before arrival as agreed.
        In the event of non-payment of the balance, La Rose du Ch\u00e2teau reserves the right to cancel the booking without refund of the deposit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n\n\n\n

        ARTICLE 4 - BOOKING VIA THE PLATFORM<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        For bookings made via Booking.com :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        • The pricing, payment and cancellation terms and conditions validated on the platform shall prevail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • These General Terms and Conditions apply to :\n
            \n
          • use of rooms and suites<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • the rules of procedure<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • occupier liability<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • use of facilities (communal areas)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • compliance with safety and occupancy rules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
            \n\n\n\n

            ARTICLE 5 - PRICES<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            Prices are in euros and include :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \n
            • availability of the room or suite<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • access to communal areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              A cleaning charge of \u20ac35 will be added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Possible supplements :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                \n
              • informal meals on request<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • additional cleaning if necessary (excessive soiling, waste not removed, deterioration)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                The corresponding costs may be deducted from the deposit on presentation of supporting documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                \n\n\n\n

                ARTICLE 6 - CANCELLATION CONDITIONS (DIRECT BOOKINGS)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                  \n
                • Cancellation up to 14 days<\/strong> before arrival: full refund<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Cancellation between 13 days and the day of arrival<\/strong> 100 % of stay due<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Early departure: no refund<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  \n\n\n\n

                  ARTICLE 7 - ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                    \n
                  • Arrival :<\/strong> between 5pm and 10pm
                    Unannounced late arrivals or arrivals outside this period may result in additional charges or partial cancellation of the booking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Departure :<\/strong> before 10 a.m.
                    Late departures may incur additional charges, covering :\n
                      \n
                    • staff overtime<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • additional household<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • damage caused by the arrival of other occupants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                      Any changes must be confirmed in writing or by email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      \n\n\n\n

                      ARTICLE 8 - USE OF COMMUNAL AREAS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                        \n
                      • Common areas are limited to the living room and dining room<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Their use is the responsibility of the occupants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Respect for calm, particularly between 22h and 7h<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                        Failure to comply with these instructions will render the occupants liable. La Rose du Ch\u00e2teau cannot be held responsible for accidents or damage resulting from carelessness or negligence. The garden and other outdoor areas are not accessible to guests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        \n\n\n\n

                        ARTICLE 9 - CHILDREN AND PETS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                        The guest house does not accept pets, for the peace and comfort of all.
                        Children must be supervised at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        \n\n\n\n

                        ARTICLE 10 - PROHIBITIONS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                          \n
                        • Smoking in bedrooms and indoor areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • Unauthorised parties and gatherings<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • Noise pollution<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • Presence of unauthorised animals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
                          \n\n\n\n

                          ARTICLE 11 - LIABILITY<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                          The tenant is responsible for :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                            \n
                          • damage caused during the stay<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          • child supervision<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          • respect for neighbours and other occupants<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          • the correct use of equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                            La Rose du Ch\u00e2teau declines all responsibility in the event of :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              \n
                            • theft or loss of personal items<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                            • accidents linked to inappropriate use of the facilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                            • failure to comply with safety instructions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
                              \n\n\n\n

                              ARTICLE 12 - INSURANCE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                              The tenant must be covered by civil liability insurance that includes a holiday clause. A certificate may be requested before the tenant moves in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              \n\n\n\n

                              ARTICLE 13 - BREACH OF CONTRACT AND EVICTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                              Any serious breach (damage, nuisance, failure to supervise children, failure to comply with the internal rules and safety instructions) may result in :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                \n
                              • immediate expulsion<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                              • additional costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                              • no reimbursement of the remaining stay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
                                \n\n\n\n

                                ARTICLE 14 - NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                                  \n
                                • Room: maximum 2 people<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                • Suites: maximum 4 people<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                                  Any additional person not declared may lead to cancellation of the stay, withholding of the deposit or the invoicing of additional costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  \n\n\n\n

                                  ARTICLE 15 - FORCE MAJEURE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                  La Rose du Ch\u00e2teau cannot be held responsible in the event of force majeure (natural disasters, fire, major technical breakdown, power cuts beyond its control).
                                  The sums paid will be reimbursed without additional compensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                  \n\n\n\n

                                  ARTICLE 16 - ACCESS TO ACCOMMODATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                  The owners have access to the room or suite in case of :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    \n
                                  • emergency<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                  • technical problems<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                  • suspected serious breach of the GTCS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                                    After informing the occupants in advance, except in an absolute emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    \n\n\n\n

                                    ARTICLE 17 - FORGOTTEN ITEMS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                    Forgotten items may be returned at the customer's request and expense.
                                    If they are not requested within 3 months, they may be retained or destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    \n\n\n\n

                                    ARTICLE 18 - DATA PROTECTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                    The personal data collected is necessary for the management of reservations and legal obligations.
                                    They are processed in accordance with the RGPD.
                                    Customers have a right of access, rectification and deletion by simple written request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    \n\n\n\n

                                    ARTICLE 19 - VIDEO PROTECTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                    Some communal areas may be under video protection for security purposes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    This does not apply to rooms and suites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    \n\n\n\n

                                    ARTICLE 20 - MEDIATION AND DISPUTES<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                    An amicable solution will be sought as a priority.
                                    In accordance with the Consumer Code, the customer may have recourse to a mediator.
                                    Failing this, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    \n\n\n\n

                                    ARTICLE 21 - APPLICABLE LAW<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                    These GCS are governed by French law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    \n\n\n\n

                                    ARTICLE 22 - ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                                    All bookings imply full acceptance of these GCS.
